Brief:

Design and build a stunning pool house in the grounds of a large country garden. The space had to be multifunctional as the clients wanted a stylish and relaxing pool house by day and a glamorous entertaining space for drinks parties in the evening with a media suite.

Work Completed:

Large oak framed bi-folding doors allow the room to be opened up to the garden. A pillow edged limestone floor was designed in a Flemish bond pattern to increase the sense of space. The bespoke ‘Pippy Oak’ island and cabinetry, conceal draw fridges, dishwasher and wine chiller cabinets. Tom Dixon ‘Lens’ pendant lights add subtle lighting over the island area and stylish Albert wall lights by Hector Finch adorn the walls.

A bespoke coffee table sits on a luxurious white Jacaranda Rug with seating for upto 8 people provided by two large Kingcombe sofas upholstered in a blue and white striped water resistant fabric. Beautiful ceramics from the Marshes pottery in Ludlow sit on floating oak shelves. Up lighters and down lighters have been cleverly positioned throughout the building so that the space looks stunning for those evening drinks parties.
